Setup Method
In this section, we'll show you how to use the Shopify app "RuffRuff Order Bonus" to distribute a sample product.
Before You Start: Set Up the App
If you've already installed and set up "RuffRuff Order Bonus," please skip ahead to Step 1.
(1) From the setup guide on the app's Home page, click "Enable app in theme"
(2) Select the Shopify theme you want to add the app to from the dropdown
(3) Click "Enable app"
(4) Enable "RuffRuff Order Bonus" on the left side of the theme editor
(5) Change the design and text of the gift widget
(6) Click "Save" at the top right of the screen
Step 1: Create a Gift Campaign That Distributes a Sample Product for ¥10,000 or More
(1) Click "Gifts" from the app's left-hand menu
(2) Click "Create campaign" from the gift campaigns list page
(3) Enter any name for the campaign
- Internal name: The name used to manage the gift campaign within the app
- Public name: The name of the gift product shown to customers
(4) In the display settings, enter any description text
- Title: The campaign title shown in the gift widget

(5) Set the period you want to run the campaign for in the active dates

Step 2: Test That the Sample Product Is Distributed
(1) Add products to the cart so the subtotal is under ¥10,000
(2) Since the condition isn't met, confirm that the sample product hasn't been added to the cart
(3) Add products to the cart so the subtotal reaches ¥10,000 or more
(4) Confirm that once the condition is met, the sample product is automatically added to the cart
