We have released a new feature, "Product Card Badges," which lets you overlay a badge indicating a product's status on the product image on collection pages and search results pages.
While the previous "pre-order badge" only added text after the product name, the product card badge overlays a designed badge at any of the four corners of the product image.
[What you can do]
● Set the badge text, background color, and text color individually for each of the four states: "during pre-order," "before start date," "after end date," and "outside conditions"
● Adjust the display position (corner), spacing, shape (square/pill/tag/rounded), and font size/weight from the admin screen
● Adjust display timing, such as "show from X days before the start date" or "show until X days after the end date," and configure an end-of-sale notice that switches to different text just before the sale ends
● Preview how the badge will look in real time on the rule edit screen
[Important notice for current users]
As previously announced, the legacy pre-order badge was retired on October 5, 2026, after the migration period ended on September 30, 2026. Legacy settings are not automatically transferred to product card badges.
To continue displaying badges, configure product card badges in both the app settings and the relevant rules. Disabling product card badges will not restore the legacy badge. Product card badges are available on the Starter plan or higher.
