[Demo] Limited color for VIP customers only

What this demo shows

Product-specific customer limits in RuffRuff Order Limits can differ by variant. Anyone can buy the regular color of this product. Only customers with the tag VIP can buy the limited color.

How to try it

1. While logged out, add the regular color to the cart and go to checkout.
2. Switch to the limited color, add it to the cart, and go to checkout.
3. Log in at /account/login, then open /pages/customer-tags and use Add tag to add the tag VIP.
4. Return to this product and go to checkout with the limited color.

What you should see

• Regular color → Anyone can buy it.
• Limited color, logged out or without the tag VIP → You cannot buy it.
• Limited color with the tag VIP → You can buy it.

How to set it up

1. In the admin, open Product-specific customer limits. For this product, set Login to Required, and in Customer tags choose Allow VIP.
2. Open Edit variant restrictions. Set the regular color to No restriction and the limited color to Use common setting.
