[Demo] VIP customers only

What this demo shows

Product-specific customer limits in RuffRuff Order Limits let only customers with the tag VIP buy this product. Guests and customers without the tag VIP cannot buy it. The product page says the product is available only to VIP members.

How to try it

1. While logged out, open this product page and read the notice.
2. Add this product to the cart and go to checkout.
3. Log in at /account/login and go to checkout again.
4. Open /pages/customer-tags and use Add tag to add the tag VIP.
5. Return to this product and go to checkout.

What you should see

• Logged out → You cannot buy this product.
• Logged in without the tag VIP → You cannot buy this product.
• The tag VIP is on the customer → You can buy this product.

How to set it up

1. In the admin, open Product-specific customer limits. In Settings, register the customer tag VIP and set its Display name on product pages to VIP members.
2. For this product, set Login to Required, and in Customer tags choose Allow VIP.
