[Demo] Limit by customer rank: Guest 1, Member 3, VIP 5

What this demo shows

A quantity limit in RuffRuff Order Limits changes by customer group. Logged-out guests can buy 1. Logged-in members can buy 3. Logged-in members with the tag VIP can buy 5.

How to try it

1. While logged out, try checkout with 1 of this product, then with 2.
2. Log in at /account/login.
3. Open /pages/customer-tags and check that the tag VIP is not on your account. If it is, enter the email address of your logged-in account in the Reset form and submit it, wait for the tags to be removed, then click “Refresh”.
4. Return to this product and try checkout with 3, then with 4.
5. Return to the customer tag page. Enter the email address of your logged-in account in the VIP form and submit it. Wait for the VIP tag to be added, then click “Refresh”.
6. Try checkout with 5, then with 6.

What you should see

• Logged out → You can buy 1. You cannot buy 2.
• Logged in without the tag VIP → You can buy 3. You cannot buy 4.
• Logged in with the tag VIP → You can buy 5. You cannot buy 6.

How to set it up

In Quantity rules by customer group of RuffRuff Order Limits, set the maximum to 1 for guests, 3 for members, and 5 for the customer tag VIP group.
