[Demo] Pay a 30% deposit now, the rest later

What this demo shows

In RuffRuff 予約販売, deferred payment with a deposit takes 30% of the price when you order.

Of the ¥10,000 ($100) item price, the deposit is ¥3,000 ($30) and the remaining ¥7,000 ($70) is due 30 days after the order.

How to try it

1. Add this product to the cart.
2. Open checkout and check the deposit for this item, the remaining balance, and the due date. Do not place the order.

What you should see

• At checkout → The deposit for this item is ¥3,000 ($30).
• The remaining ¥7,000 ($70) and shipping → They are due 30 days after the order.

The due date does not trigger automatic collection. The store must collect the deferred payment manually. For an order with only pre-order items, shipping is also charged with the balance on the due date (Shopify behavior).

How to set it up

In RuffRuff 予約販売, open Pre-order rule settings, turn on Deferred payment, set Checkout amount (Deposit) to 30% (Percentage), and set the balance due date to 30 days after checkout.
